Service suitability, location coverage and scheduling must be confirmed for your project.

Separate a protector from a structural top

Glass laid over a continuous table surface has different support conditions from a top spanning a frame. Describe the furniture, supports and intended use rather than selecting thickness by appearance. The assessment should account for overhangs, edge exposure and any concentrated loads.

Confirm the final shape

Irregular outlines may require a template. Rounded corners, polished edges, holes and notches must be planned before fabrication, especially where heat-treated glass is specified. Include nearby walls, handles and cable routes for a desk protector. Transparent pads or other suitable supports should be considered with the finished assembly.
