Choose privacy by viewing conditions

Describe who needs privacy and from which side. Frosted finishes diffuse views differently from reflective films, whose effect can change with lighting. A meeting room, treatment room and street-facing window may need different coverage heights. Review a sample and consider silhouettes and visibility through uncovered areas.

Check the existing surface

Film selection depends on glass type, coatings, existing films and whether application is inside or outside. Seals, edges and cleaning access affect the layout. Share panel dimensions and any landlord requirements. Decorative privacy film is not automatically safety glazing or a security upgrade; those needs require a separate specification.

Questions before
the next step.

Does frosted film block all light?

It can obscure views while admitting light, but transmission and appearance depend on the selected product and coverage.

Can privacy film be removed later?

Many films can be removed, but age, adhesive and substrate condition affect the work. Removal and surface preparation should be included in the scope.
