Describe the room and exposure

Identify which windows are affected, the time of day and whether the main concern is screen glare, direct sun or overheating. Include external shading and existing blinds. A darker appearance does not by itself describe a film’s solar performance; product data and samples help compare suitable options.

Review glass compatibility first

Pane construction, coatings, edge condition and existing tint affect film selection. Some combinations may be unsuitable or have warranty implications. Check manufacturer guidance for the complete glazing assembly before installation. Savings, indoor temperatures and glare reduction cannot be promised without considering the building and selected product.

About this service

Questions before
the next step.

Will the windows have to look dark?

Not necessarily. Products vary in visible light transmission and reflection. Review samples alongside the desired performance.

Can film be applied to every insulated unit?

Compatibility needs confirmation for the glass, coatings and installation surface. A product suitable for one window may not suit another.
