Identify the type of mark

Describe when the mark appeared, whether it can be felt and any cleaning products already used. Photographs under angled light help show the affected area, but cannot establish scratch depth or coating condition. Cloudiness between panes belongs in a sealed-unit assessment rather than a surface-cleaning scope.

Agree a realistic restoration scope

Restoration suitability depends on glass type, coatings, damage depth and the viewing requirements. A controlled test area may be needed. Polishing can introduce optical distortion or affect coatings, and some damage is better addressed by replacement. No complete-removal result should be assumed before the surface is examined.

About this service

Questions before
the next step.

Can every scratch be polished out?

No. Depth, coating and optical requirements determine whether a restoration attempt is appropriate.

Are hard-water marks always removable?

Deposits and etched surface damage can look similar. Assessment or a test area is needed before a result is promised.
